Vein Care Center of Amelia Island is now open and accepting new patients in search of treatment for varicose veins, spider veins, and related venous disorders.
Founded by Gabor Kovacs, M.D., the office was designed from the ground up to provide personalized care and lasting results in a warm, welcoming and professional environment.

Dr. Kovacs completed his general surgical residency at the Brookdale Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he went on to become Chief Resident, followed by his fellowship in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Nassau Hospital in Mineola, NY. He also served as a Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corp, where he served in Honduras and received Airborne Wings.
Dr. Kovacs has more than 20 years of vascular and vein-related experience and is fellowship trained and board-certified by the American College of Surgeons in general surgery. His specialties include vascular and general surgery.
The office, located at 2334 S 8th St, Fernandina Beach, FL, 32034, is outfitted with the most advanced, least invasive technology available to treat varicose veins and other common vascular issues. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Kovacs says the goal of the practice is to deliver an unsurpassed standard of medical and aesthetic success to every patient.
